                                Considering joining Afton Realty?  Good idea! 

                                Keep most of your commissions.  95% from the first dollar on.  Be a 95 percenter from the beginning.  Pay directly the fees required by the associations and government and an annual E & O payment (Between $100-200 per agent, once per year. ) Alternate monthly fees may also be an option

                                Run your business out of your home or office, as you probably do already. Receive full Broker support as you need or ask for it.  No required meetings or desk time.  Use Afton Realty signs or your own.  Sign calls to AR are handled professionally and courteously, and redirected to you as efficiently as possible.

                                Its your business, but arrangements can easily be made for the broker or fellow agents to help out when you are unavailable, busy,  having difficulty, have legal questions or otherwise need support.  Set your own rates and keep most of what you earn.  Any commission or fees earned via the Brokerage are split 95/5.  Exceptions for Broker supplied leads.

                                What is expected of AR agents.


                                Represent Afton Realty and your clients fairly, professionally and with respect.

                                Upload all transaction documents required by Commerce or DRL (in WI).  Many of these will happen automatically if you are using instanet.

                                Consider contributing time or thought to the website and other online activities.


                                As a broker, my work is to build the AR brand, keep up with the industry and support agents.  You likely work more and more from your home and phone. Direction,  motivation, and industry news is coming more from online communication than at the office. Water cooler conversations are being replaced with online forums and social networking.
                                For these reasons and more, it may be time to cut your overhead and align with an independent without the large brokerage fees, desk fees and splits.

                                Interested in representing business buyers or sellers? AR has an excellent agent that you may partner with on such transactions.  Interested in charging by the hour? I am open to trying new things and welcome agents to try likewise.
